How much slower are the freeways on game days? Hour by hour, game days compared with normal days, from years of road-sensor data (measured readings only, not Caltrans's estimates).
- Dodger Stadium: After weeknight Dodgers games, I-110 South at Stadium Way runs about 14 mph slower than on a normal weeknight around 10 pm (51 mph instead of 66 mph; 700 games from 2010 to 2026).
- Angel Stadium: On weeknight Angels games, the freeways where Angel Stadium's traffic gets on and off average 57 mph in the hour before the start, compared with 55 mph at that time on a normal weeknight (741 games from 2010 to 2026).
- Petco Park: On weeknight Padres games, the freeways where Petco Park's traffic gets on and off average 62 mph in the hour before the start, compared with 62 mph at that time on a normal weeknight (661 games from 2010 to 2026).
- Oracle Park: On weeknight Giants games, the freeways where Oracle Park's traffic gets on and off average 59 mph in the hour before the start, compared with 59 mph at that time on a normal weeknight (258 games from 2013 to 2019).
